Fashion model and public spokesperson, Winnie Harlow is PUMA’s newest global ambassador and the face of the brand’s Mile Rider Campaign. Harlow officially collaborated with PUMA in June. Her first project supported the Trayvon Martin Foundation, an organization named for the Florida teenager who was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer in 2012. Harlow joins the likes of the late Nipsey Hussle, DaniLeigh, Meek Mill, Dreezy, Selena Gomez, G-Eazy, and Big Sean, who have all partnered with the athleisure company.
Last month, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to reveal her ambassadorship and expressed her gratitude to collaborate with a brand that stands for change and supports her beliefs. “They have always allowed their partners to get behind causes that are important to them. That was always really exciting and important to me,” Harlow said.
The Mile Rider is PUMA’s newest women’s-focused addition to the Rider family. The sneaker features bright pops of color, a synthetic leather look, patent overlays, and a pink checkered print on the base. The design and comfort makes the Mile Rider perfect for summer actives and adventures. The Rider has a long history in the PUMA family, originally starting off as one of the first jogging shoes in the ’80s. The Mile Rider sneaker will be available to purchase on July 11th on PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and select retailers.
