By There is no denying that neon green is officially the color of Summer 2019. It’s everywhere! Which is why there is currently a meme going around on Instagram that says. “Imma neon green y’all to death this summer.” It’s definitely true. There’s a good chance that you will see the hue incorporated into a female or males look this summer. Yes, you read that right. The guys will be rocking the shade too. There’s really no way to avoid it, as almost every brand is making sure they have lime green items as well as other neon shades available. Whether it’s clothing, shoes or accessories, you are bound to see neon somewhere.
If you have been resisting the temptation to add neon colors to your look, you should just give in at this point. I did and I have no regrets. For one, if there is a time to wear bright colors it would be in the summer. Summer is the perfect season to step out of your comfort zone and wear bold and bright colors. Secondly, if you are like me and feel that your look could use a pop of color sometimes, neon adds just that. It easily puts the finishing touches on a look. So if you have been hesitant to hop on the bandwagon, look no further! I have suggested some simple tips, tricks, and items to help you confidently sport the hottest hue of the summer.
Nails
Your nail color is one of the easiest ways to include neon into your look especially if you aren’t ready to go all the way. The next time you get a manicure or pedicure think about opting for a brighter color instead of a neutral tone. I can almost guarantee your local nail salon has the colors that I am wearing in the pictures above as well as other neon shades since it is so popular.
Accessories
Accessories undeniably help to tie everything together and complete a look. The smallest details can definitely take an outfit to the next level, which is why I suggest adding colorful accessories to a few of your outfits this summer. My neon clutch from Aldo gave this look the perfect pop of color that it needed. What’s funny is that these pictures were taken last summer. So I will definitely be styling this clutch with more of my looks this summer.

Wardrobe
If you are really bold and want to take your looks to the next level, wearing a neon dress, a top or bottom is also another way to sport the trend. Brands such as PrettyLittleThing and Sorella make it easy to add neon pieces to your look as they have several items available.
The dress that I am wearing in the photo above is from PrettyLittleThing. I attended a wedding earlier this month and I wanted a completely different look. I knew that I definitely wanted to wear a blazer dress since they are so popular right now and very easy to style. I also figured why not wear a color that was eye-catching and vivid since summer is here. The color complimented my skin tone so well and didn’t need much since the dress would be the main focus of the look.
