The 91st Academy Awards was filled with everything from suits to ruffles, tules and metallics as some of the most famous women graced the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Although pink seemed to be the hottest hue of the night, it wouldn’t be the Oscars without a timelessly elegant touch of black and white. No matter the color choice or fabric, the women made sure to close out awards season in style!

Regina King
Prior to winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Regina King was already a winner when she stepped onto the red carpet. The If Beale Street Could Talk star arrived wearing a white Oscar de la Renta dress, which fit her like a glove. King’s bob cut hairstyle also added a chic touch to her look and helped to compliment her gown perfectly!
Jennifer Lopez
Is this really a surprise? J.Lo can honestly do no wrong! Whether she’s a part of the show or just attending, the Shades of Blue star knows how to make a statement without even trying. The singer claimed that it took Tom Ford two months to make this silver metallic number, it was definitely worth the wait as it was one of the hottest looks of the night.
Jennifer Hudson
Red is always a questionable color for the red carpet, but if it is done the right way it can and will certainly turn heads. That’s exactly what Jennifer Hudson did in this number. This red ruffled Elie Saab gown complimented J-Hud’s skin and body excellently. I am happy she opted for little to no jewelry and a slick back hairstyle because all of the focus needed to be on the dress.
Ashley Graham
Ashley Graham is definitely no stranger to the spotlight. She might be used to stepping out on runways and modeling for well-known designers, but on Oscars night she looked like a glamorous movie star. Graham looked so eloquent in her black strapless mermaid Zac Posen gown.
Molly Sims
Sequin for the win! Molly Sims looked breathtaking in this silver Zuhair Murad gown. The slits on the side were definitely a plus and nice way to show off her curves but still made Sims look classy and tasteful. This is certainly a timeless look and proves that sequin will never go out of style.
